Call me a cheap uncharitable b!tch, but I have a hard enough time with college and living expenses, let alone give money to charities. But in my defense, every year before school starts, I give my unwanted clothes to Goodwill. That's about the best I can do besides volunteer work.

i understand. I'm a student to. But i'm very luky to have a job on saturday and my parents help me with my rent, so i have enough money. So for me it is buying alot of candy or games, or helping people who need it. I really understand that people who do not have alot of money do not give to charity.
But some people do have alot of money and i think it is strange that they do not give to charity. Most of us are very lukcky to be born in a country that is rich. If i was born in africa or another third wrld country. i would not have it as good as i have it. i would not go to a universatie. So i want to help te people who do not have al the thing i have.

Giving cothes to goodwill is also great. if you do not have alot of money then you shoudn't give it. there is no need to help others if you cannot afford it.

This thread was not intended to give people who do not give to charity a bad feeling, i was just wondering to what charitys people give money

You don't need money to support charities.

Help w/ fund raisers or actually give your time to help make things better
