For all of you who miss the last second heroics of Moochie Norris, I think you'll enjoy this video I put together back in '02. I hope you enjoy.

Moochie Norris encapsulates everything that was so wrong, yet so right about the late 90s-early 2000s Rockets. Lol. Thanks for posting these vids, man.

    That was great.

As much as I was a die hard fan from '92 to '98, I remember almost nothing from about '99 to '02. It was around that time that I lost my childish obsession with the team as I started to focus more on my own basketball pursuits in high school, got more into cars as a hobby, and became preoccupied with the college life. Of course, it didn't help the Rockets were terrible at the time.

So it's a bit of a double edged sword to see videos like this. On one hand it's always nice to see new things, but on the other hand it just reminds me that I missed them in the first place. As a big a fan as I was, and am today, it's hard to believe there was a time when Rockets basketball hardly crossed my mind

Anyone else been through a similar "hiatus" through the years?

I only watched them sporadically from 05-08 due to college. I caught most of the highlights though, it's not like I didn't know what was going on.

Sadly I was diehard during the Franchise years, sigh.

I was at the game where he hit the game winner vs. the Knicks. Ah, I miss those days.

This is the best video I have ever seen.

These games were some of the most fun I have ever witnessed.

Mooch, Steve, Cat, Walt will always be a few of my favorite Rockets.

Yes, I went through the same "hiatus" as you did (the same years) but for different reasons. I moved from Houston to Austin where I could only watch a few of the games per year. I tried listening on the radio but it was 740am in Houston and it would come and go. I always read the Chronicle to keep up. Thank goodness for the internet now a days.

the fro, cornrows, stripped PJs- it's like a 2000 rockets version of Journey in the 80s. so cheesy, it's epic.

How many shots was that? 5. I don't know how you managed to make a 2 minute video out of that. Good job though, you made Moochie look like a superstar.

Man, what happened to him. He wasn't known for his shot but he was clutch at the end of games for is first 2 seasons then his game went to boo boo after he got his big contract.
