car stereo help

    ok, i have a pioneer car stereo, it has satelite radio on it. i bought it about 16 months ago, then i had problems last week.

    i push the source button to change from CD to TUNER to SAT....but lately, it doesn't give me SAT as an option. I talked to a guy at Circuit City, and he goes yeah, your unit is broken, so i buy another one...and instead of having someone install it, i figure, i can install it myself. i buy a new unit at walmart...same one actually i take it out, disconnect the wires, reconnect the wires...new unit, same problem.

    so i take it wasn't the unit to begin with...is it internal wires or something?
