I know people will call me crazy or possibly some eugenics freak but....

I think it is obvious as a whole humans have a rough future. Population is out of control, global warming, peak oil, ozone, pollution. These problems will make more war, terrorism, violent uprisings.

We will have many problems to solve. With breakthroughs in medicines for Alzheimer's improving memory, ADHD meds improving concentration, shouldn't we make them legal? The future might provide gene doping for improved intelligence. Would it not be silly to say no to these things if it could avoid majors problems in the future?

Are you talking about drugs, as in medicinals (not recreational drugs), or gene therapy?

At the moment both are legal provided they can pass FDA and other approvals.

Talking about drugs that are probably not good for your health but can make you more productive. Meds for Alzheimer's, ADHD, senility.

In the future gene doping or something no one has thought of.

I'm confused by your notion of "drugs." For example, there really arent any Alzheimer's drugs because we still dont even understand what Alzheimers is. At best we have a few drugs that delay the onset of Alzheimers. As for medication for ADD, that's been legal for a while with prescription.

And for "gene doping" I'm going to guess you mean some sort of gene therapy. Sadly gene therapy proved to be nowhere close to the potential envisioned in the 90s. There are tons of health risks with gene therapy and not to mention the fact that we still havent figured out how to make it a permanent modification to someone's dna.

In short all the stuff you described is legal to a certain degree and none of it provides the benefits that you are talking about.

We can genetically alter the DNA of welfare recipients with the fat gene (through retroviral agents impregnated in government cheese), and then render them down when they die for bio-diesel.

Has anyone ever tried boiling the fruit of a tallow tree to make bio diesel?

I was going to kill all of mine but if I can run my tractors with them I might keep them.

I was trying to figure it out.
Sounds like the 'JUST LET THEM DIE' argument.
Because the population . . . is getting out of hand.

that is my stab in the dark

No I was talking about they would increase productivity and possibly help to solve problems. If I was going for the let them die I would have said meth or something.

How much fuel can you make per tree, and what actually goes into the, um, dieselification process? Can you pay someone to do this for you, and are you certain it will cost less than the market cost of diesel fuel itself? What kind of additives included in your current diesel fuel would you be missing out on if you just makethis homemade tallow fuel?

We already have the intelligence and the technical know-how to solve most of these problems - the problem is that we have very powerful and very entrenched entities who are reaping massive profits from these problems and who will do everything in their power to prevent them from being solved.

An acre can yield 5500 kg of oil. The rest of your questions apply to all bio diesels.

People hundreds of years ago managed to make a living in the Siberian wilderness or deserts like the Sahara or Gobi. Some of their descendants still do.

To think we'll need drugs/gene therapy to live like that again is the lazy way out with a host of unintended consequences that landed us into taking the drugs in the first place.
