Will bush be the first president to have dow decline under his watch? It looks like it might happen. I think Carter was the last time it happened. However Volcker at least killed inflation. We have a worse dollar, higher unemployment, high inflation and soon will have a worse market due to the great chimp.
Right, because we all know that the President is the only person that influences the economy. Man, this is some heavy logic here... 9-11, the commodity price boom, China and India's industrialization, corporate scandals, the mortgage crisis -- yeah, Bush was 100% responsible for all of that. The fact that our economy has any positive attributes at all is nothing short of amazing.
tsk..tsk...TJ. How could you forget, its also Bush's fault that the Euro has been adopted at such a quick rate in the last 10yrs which helped to devalue the dollar.
