Anyone watching? It's the story of the MIT students who counted cards in Vegas. It's on the History Channel.
I saw it like a month or 2 back, are you expecting to break Vegas? I'd just say go out there and fun, who cares if you lose a grand or two
I actually got this book as an Xmas present, but have yet to read it. Trader Jorge said it was good though. Sounds like a great idea for a movie.
I believe Kevin Spacey is directing the movie...not sure when its coming out. Vegas is the best. Ever.
Oh no, not at all. I just like watching or reading about stuff like this. To me, the appeal of blackjack is finding a fun table and spending a few hours with some outgoing people. Sure, I'd prefer to win, but having fun is what matters.
What is the friggin' deal with Las Vegas? Man, I am sick of seeing professional poker, celebrity poker, celebrity blackjack, reality shows set in Vegas, movies set in Vegas, variety shows, documentaries, commercials, news stories....ARRRRRGH!!! Who freakin' cares?
I do! As does everyone in my family. I've known families like that my whole life and never understood it. Frankly, I felt like you do now. Then I went.
Saw it about a month ago. Thought it was funny that the casinos went as far as to hire a detective to break up the ring. It's legal, leave them alone! At the end it mentions that another group is growing that is planning to do the same thing in a few years.
