    I am taking my wife there for her Birthday Saturday night, anyone have any experience eating there?

    Is it any good?

    When I'm in S.A. I prefer The Little Red Barn @ 1836 S Hackberry (Eastside).

    The steaks are great and the waitresses wears skimpy cowgirl outfits.

    Overpriced. Can get a better, larger steak at The Palm or Capital Grille or Mortons. Don't think they have those places in Spurs country though.

    There is a Palm and Mortons in SA. The Mortons is across from the Menger Hotel downtown. I can't remember with the Palm is.

    Palm is on Houston street, about 100 yards from Bohanons.

    Well, the Palm was pretty empty and I have eaten there before, it is good but I wanted a new experience.

    So, we at at Bohanans, and it was AMAZING !!

    We had a wonderful evening meal for my wife's birthday, it lasted over 3 hours........

    I had a NY Strip with Lobster tale, Fois Gras app and some great Pinot Noir wine.

    The tab was a lot but it was well worth it !

    I highly recommend this restaraunt.

    There's a German steak house on the riverwalk right near the old Palicio Del Rio (Hilton?)... The Rhein House or something... I remember it was great.

    We were staying in that hotel, but the Concierge recommended Bohannans....and she was RIGHT !
