    Anyone have any insight as to when these will be sold in the US? or will I have to go to Japan to get one?

    Are you talking about a drive to put into your computer so you can write to blank Blu-Ray discs?

    They have been available for a long time now, last week's Fry's ad had a Blu-Ray burner which was also a HD-DVD drive as well, plus all the regular dvd abilities as well.

    Prices have come down too, if I recall correctly, this one was only $169
