Clippers are already pretty good offensively. They suck defensively.

This isn't a good move IMO. Hurts defensively and risks offensive chemistry

    Man.

    Jordan
    Blake/Martin
    Butler
    Crawford
    Paul/Williams

That is a solid rotation, plus Portland's willingness to do this smells to me that they're trying to stay a lotto team. With them out of the race, and Rubio's injury, we can still make the playoffs despite our recent stretch of losses.

Good deal for Clippers. This means Portland is blowing it up and Wallace can be had cheap it seems.

Yeah, seems like it. Wallace is gone come Thursday, as well.

I think Bledsoe has untapped potential. So from that standpoint I like the deal in Portland. Plus, kevin pritchard realizes that Portland probably isn't going anywhere and are trying to get younger.

Wow.. getting Crawford for Clipper's trash.

Gomes is dead weight on that team. Bledsoe is extremely expendable. Crawford has emerged as one of Portland's main offensive options, with Wesley Matthews taking a back seat this year.

Not sure what Portland is thinking... smh

I agree and like to see the Rockets make a move to tap that.

However, please note that Kevin Pritchard has not worked for Portland for some time. He was fired on the night of the 2010 draft.

If that's the case, maybe they'll take Thabeet for Wallace. The clippers are robbing the blazers.

Exactly.. It makes sense for Clippers but doesn't make sense for Portland.

Good trade for both. Clippers get a sg and blazers get a pg.

The odd thing is that Portland seem to be taking on salary in this deal.

Are they getting a pick out of it? I'd guess they really like Eric Bledsoe!

I wish the Rockets could get rid of their trash for a Jamal Crawford type of player.

[rQUOTEr]The Trail Blazers and Clippers are discussing a deal that would send Jamal Crawford to the Clippers for Eric Bledsoe and Ryan Gomes, league sources told CBSSports.com. The talks have not advanced to the ownership level, but the two teams have exchanged proposals and were mulling over this idea on Monday. It's not clear whether the deal would be a precursor to a second trade for Portland involving disgruntled point guard Raymond Felton. Rival executives believe the Blazers are interested in exploring a swap of Felton to the Lakers for Steve Blake, with L.A. sending another piece to make the salaries match and compensate the Blazers for getting the better player and future cost savings in the deal. The Portland coaching staff and front office are comfortable with Blake, who could provide a calming presence as the team battles through numerous distractions. Coach Nate McMillan appears to be safe for the time being, according to people in contact with Blazers officials.[/rQUOTEr]
