    Someone was capped. A Dodge Neon with a hostage ended tragically. Channel 13 had it going for a while.

    Started NOrth of the Beltway.

    Bad traffic jam going home on 45 North EITHER WAY. :(

    The driver was taken hostage. The police shot the passenger, the driver jumped right upon impacting a truck.

    Guess there was a kidnapped child in the car? What an amazing end of a chase. Glad the kid is ok. Wonder how old the kid was. What a horrible thing to witness.

    Montgomery County is where it started.
    Jeremy Roberson was the dude who kidnapped them.

    The kid is 4 years old. The mother of the child exited upon hitting the truck. The police officers got the dude out.

    Kira Rene Allen is the mother. Hopefully she and the kid are allright after that nasty spill. :(

    I couldn't believe she got up right after she hit the ground. Just before they hit the back of the truck you could see the guy with the gun shooting from the back window.

    Thank God the mother and daughter (Andrea and Kiara Allen) survived this tragedy. The driver is swiss cheese.

    So traffic is also going to be pretty bad going North on 45? I am at 45 & Bay Area Blvd. thinking about going home (live near Rice University) early this afternoon:)
