Just about a month and a half ago i suffered a traumatic high ankle sprain in which later on MRI showed was a fracture and cartilage damage. Since cartilage cannot be regenerated by the body, these can become crippling injuries for the rest of your life. The specialist i see now told me i shouldnt run ever again or the cartilage tear will get larger and i will have major problems in the future.
