meh it would hold more weight if mccain didn't puss out on his backing of the economy as fundamentally strong...which it is. our economy built on the abuse of credit is not strong and must be fixed.

With your political views, and seeing the proverbial writing on the political wall, it must suck being a Bush/McCain supporter these days.

Politically speaking, your karma has run over your dogma.

Apparently, like TJ and McCain, you've taking to outright lying.

    via TPM --

We usually don't post Web ads, but this latest from the McCain campaign is so comically misleading that it really is a must-see:

The ad shows footage of Obama that's edited down to make him say this: "We've got the long-term fundamentals that will really make sure this economy grows."

The ad then suggests that this shows that Obama agrees with McCain's recent controversial claim that "the fundamentals of our economy are strong."

"Is Obama saying McCain's right?" the ad continues. "Or is Obama saying his own attacks are shameless?"

It turns out, of course, that the Obama quote was torn out of context in a hilariously dishonest way. It comes from Obama's speech yesterday, in which he was discussing his prescriptions for the economy, and said...

In other words, the "long-term fundamentals" Obama was referring to were those of his own economic plan, not of the economy right now!

Oh, that's a good one. What with all the dire news and with happy hour still hours away, we needed a good laugh...

Bush White House warned about F&F in 2001, 2002, 2003, before the infamous denials by Dems in 2004 (which Franks is shown doing in 2003)... etc...
Then Greenspan warned in 2005, Dems blocked it.. Was taken to vote in 2006...

Obama did not vote either way...

Then ling ling posted one that Bill Clinton said the Dems even resisted him during his administration (in the late 90's) on the same issue.

But hey, it's all the Republican's fault. ;)

And Hillary went into Kosovo under sniper fire, too.

Stop being lazy! If you are going to post garbage that is just going to be shown as garbage why even bother?

Seriously, don't you investigate anything you decide to post to discover whether or not it has any legitimacy? Some of the crap you've posted is just laughable. It isn't based in reality or truth.

But it's nice to see you've kept an open mind about Obama.

you could tell that video was spliced, he didn't even clearly say the economy was fundamentally strong. This is an internet ad right? they tend to be looser with facts but I don't know why any campaign would even waste their time, it would seem that you couldn't change someone's mind with this crap. if it comes across the net, the rebuttal will come across also.
