Is there anyone around New York City that wants to do the same? I'm new here, and I don't have authorization to create my own thread. Any help?

If you are a Rockets fan living in New York, let me know and let's find a meeting spot for the games this season.

 

3rd base is a great place...watch the Texans games there, but it's a way south for me in good ol' Round Rock, especially with a 9:30 CST starting time. Any place a little more on the north side of town?

I'll ping your buddy D.M. to see if he might be up for it. I also have a big time Laker buddy that I'm sure would be up for it...I'll see if he's in town or traveling.

 

I'm all for going out to watch the game - my wingman's out of town and I need some Rockets company. However, I'd prefer somewhere North as well since I live N 183 and it's a late tip off. Anyone for Legends @ 183 and Mopaq? If not, give me someother place N. I liked 3rd base - but it's too damn far S. and besides, DD will be there!

i actually enjoy the the Tavern. there is a nice little following there and the drinks are more reasonable then most downtown sportsbars. On that note, i won't be attending bc i have to watch 9 out of every 10 games there. If's it's on national tv i'd prefer to drink good beer at my house for a fraction of the price. Also, i love being able to hear the game which isn't always possible if UT has somethin going on. Enjoy the game guys

 

I've never been there. How is it? Do they give volume for the games?

I'm all for a large group of peeps but it looks like we're going to have several smaller groups. I can travel south, but 45th st. is probably my limit.

I guess we need someone to make an executive decision on where to meet. Central appears to be the best compromise.

I'm screwed. My daughter has her first middle school choir concert tonight. It's the DVR for me. Maybe next time.
