Well, it's that time of year again, time for the Austinites who pledge their alleigance to the United States of Rudy to get together and root the team back to the playoffs. When: Suggestions welcome. I say there is no game better than opening night. Time: Game time. Place: Suggestions welcome. Showplace Lanes worked well last year. We also met at the Tavern, but I think Aussie's could be a place as well. I understand that a lot of you live north, but this is a place where we'd have no problem getting a big table, they have cheap Miller Lites, some pretty cute waitresses, and the best chili cheese fries you'll ever eat. However, I'm cool for anywhere in a 20 mile radius. So, who's in. Again, let me hear your suggestions.
I'm in .... but probably not opening night. It's the first game of the year and when we all hook up, I don't get to update the front page, post recaps, stats, etc. until late at night. First game of the season I have to get things running pretty smoothly again.... After that I'm game. I'm sure Kagy would come. Lets coordinate with the other post in the Rockets forum ....
There is also a Hooter's right across the street from Aussies. If Aussies is the place, I recommend the Brisbane Bits...mmmmmm.

Where will you guys be watching the Lakers game on the 8th? I'll be in town taking the CPA Exam for the first time, the 8th is the last day of the test, and I'll need to unwind. What better way than a Rockets/Lakers game!!
