Damn! I didn't even know this thing was going to happen!

They had Los Lobos, the Arc Angels, Wilco, Shawn Colvin, Ryan Adams, David Garza, Eyes Adrift and many more! They rocked out Zilker Park for 2 days!!

Austin music fest exceeds all limits

We had planned on going Sunday, but when we heard that people were waiting an hour for the shuttle and another hour to get in, we decided to wait for the 2nd Annual ACL Festival.

I did the 2 day pass deal..... there were probably about 40,000 people there.

Lots of good looking females were in attendence. Lots and lots and lots.

I was sober both days and enjoyed:

    Wilco
    String Cheese Incident
    The Jayhawks
    Ryan Adams
    Eric Johnson
    Pat Green
    G. Love and Special Sauce
    Robert Randolph
    Los Lobos

They are considering taking the ACL festival on the road, and plans are already in the works for next years festival.

Hey rH is Whole Foods hiring right now??

We parked by Deep Eddy Pool on Lake Austin Blvd and Mopac. It was about a mile walk from my car to the entrance with no waiting. Sorry you were misinformed like that.....

Very laid back event. You could bring chairs, blankets, water..... Lots of restroom facilities too. I think the line for the one day passes was relatively short on Sunday. Saturday looked pretty hideous....

Sounds good. We'll be there next year. (We'd better, my wife is still wondering why we left Hermosa Beach :) ).

We went on Sun. and had a good time- I hear Sat was tough because of the crowds and 95 degree heat.
