Artest: Out for Season - does that mean playoffs?

This was asked of Stern recently and he said "Yes, that means playoffs too."

 

does he train with the team? And is he getting paid? i think he is not being paid

 

1 - yes
2 - no, though it should be said that the league has a history of tossing *some* suspension money back at players and coaches after the season, provided they were on good behavior afterwards. No idea if this applies to Ron, but he's lost an extraordinary amount of money from this and, to his credit, has kept quiet.

The true test will come next year. If Ron comes back and starts acting a fool again, it'll all be for nothing.
