ok so i'm trying to transfer programs (which are just going to be text, no games or anything) from my computer to my calculator. essentially i have a lot of stuff i want to type into the calculator, but don't want to have to go through the painfully slow process of using the calculator keys, and instead want to type it into the computer and then transfer.

so i bought this USB cable that is supposed to be for the TI connectivity kit, and it should work with a TI-83 Plus, which is what i'm using. I also have the TI Connect software installed and thus everything should work. but for some reason it won't. anyone had any successful experiences using TI Connect before with a TI-83 Plus or any type of calculator.

    thanks

!.) Make sure you have the correct model number and features set up on the software.

2.) Get TiLp (TI Linking Program). Tis easy.
