I;m seriously thinking of suing the frickin company! No cut-offs or busy signals my schweaty balls!!! I get at least one busy signal everytime I log on, and lately, I have been getting cut off nearly every 10 minutes. I tried for an hour to get on this morning....never got on. My mom still thinks it's our computer, but I;ve talked to others having the same problem. If I were an adult(IF), we'd be in court right now! Don't get this internet!!Ever. It sucks the wang, and I mean HARD! If any of you work for EV1....I don't care
I've got good and bad news. Good: I sent your post to an EV1 employee. Bad: The EV1 employee had a good laugh.
I am mostly pleased with my EV1 service but ... Almost every week night at 9 pm, connections get scarce and the service gets really slow. I am guessing that a lot of folks want to check their email before going to bed. Outside of this, EV1 is the best ISP I have ever had. They have online support chat service which were very knowledgable and actually helped me solve a problem. They also have a set of SPAM filters for incoming mail, which do the trick. All for a very nice price. The only reason I would switch is get broadband.
I know. After my first year of college, I asked my parents for Road Runner cause I could not survive without a high speed connection. Since then I've never dialed up.
(click on my profile and check my occupation), I got a good laugh out of it. If you want, I can take a stab to try to fix it. BTW, I am in the chat rooms most of the time on the weekends, No Worries.
BTW Dave, your company caused me to get a zero on a one-question quiz over a book I didn't read. I was planning on reading Sparknotes , but the friggin internet would not sign on.
Wasn't an internet class....I just didn't read the book, and was trying to log onto sparknotes so I could see what happened. I got to class and the teacher popped a one-question quiz on us. I took a stab at it and put like the complete oppostie of the correct answer...so I think I made a big fat 0
no sh**, After going to College and having a super fast connection, I cant stand it when I go back home and have to use a dial up. I love broadband.
