    Six West (my band), the premier Funk-Rock band in Houston, is playing tonight at Fitzdown and I invite all of you to come. We go on at 11:00 and Fishbone goes on upstairs after we finish. $7 down and $15 up. People who pay to go downstairs can't go up but people who pay to go upstairs can go both up and down. 7 Bands total in both places.

    More good music tonight...

    There's a band from the Czech Republic that's playing at Rudz (on Waugh)

    They're called Uz Jsma Doma (oosh-may-doe-ma)
    They're too "out there" to be classified.
    Sort of an operatic, punk band meets spaghetti western rock!?

    I've also got a buddy who's in the opening band, Blessitron 4000. They're sorta twangy rock.

    All tonight 7/6 at Rudyards on Waugh...
