This guys schtick is so old....did you see the interview with Michael Irvin on ESPN?

Talk about full of himself, YES he was a great player, but man, after watching that arrogant display I want him to get beat so often that he takes over for Patterson and is simply called Toast.

    Deon...just shut up.......and play ball.

I thought it was kinda entertaining, and given the fact that it was with Irvin, a really good friend, his demeanor may have been slightly different (not that much though :)) than with other interviewers...

Usually I'd agree with you; I can't stand loudmouths who think they are the center of the world.

But for some reason, PrimeTime doesn't bother me much. I still think he's talking himself up way too much; he's probably going to get beaten like pack mule every Sunday (no offense to the pack mule owners out there).

Yet, I just can't help but laugh when he talks. It's like he loves what he does, where he's at, so damn much that it doesn't bother me. Wish I could explain it.

He just so damn happy, I guess.

He's gonna have this huge target on his back all season. (or at least until he shows he's close to being as good as he used to be) I personally think he'll be on par with the rest of the NFL.

I remember Rome coined the moniker "Average Cornerback" anytime he referred to Deion during his last stint in the NFL. That was a great nickname.

I think some tight end or offensive lineman is going to lay Deion out this season.

I just realized that he's not going to be a commentator anymore. Sweet!

I think it adds to whatever is going to happen to him this season, if he flops (probably) he will look like a bigger fool. However if he does well, then he'll be that much more fun to root against!

    It's a win-win...

(Same goes for players that leave the Texans, Rockets, or Astros)
