    on nba.com they're now asking what player is the most deserving of the rookie of the year award. Steve has a pretty commanding lead on Brand right now (53.6% to 37.7%) but there's only been about 3000 votes counted. So...yeah, go support Stevie!

    It does look like a different one. This one's only a three horse race -- Francis, Brand, and Odom. Those are the only three names on this poll.

    25,009 votes already and Francis has a nice lead over Brand , this is the results so far:

    Steve Francis : 52.2%

    Elton brand : 38.06%

    Lamar Odom : 9.0%
