    Anyone seen the new "old" video being discussed on news sites? It appears it is a post Sept. 11 video made just after the attacks .
    He was saying it was a great victory, that it was all God's doing, and it wasn't because of their superiority. It also shows the will of one of the terrorist hi-jackers saying some garbage about taking death to American soil or some crazy shiyat.

    Regarding Bin Laden and his terrorist Al Qaeda gang....I wonder how he feels now....especially after the whole of Taliban/Al Qaeda Afghanistan have almost completely fallen to our forces? How many terrorists and innocent Afghanistan civilians(aka collateral damage) did he ultimately bring destruction to? Did he honestly think we were not going to respond to his barbarism? Remember how arrogant and cocky those bastards were denying any knowledge of it and daring us to come fight them(from the spokesman who is now in Camp X-ray :) ). I truly believe they thought we were going to fight a conventional ground war by the way their spokesman compared us to the Russians. Truth is they only defeated the Russians with our help. They talked as though we were weak and we would do nothing but wimper and die. Hah! Moron.

    As if we hadn't produced enough evidence before(including his own confession tape), this is basically another confession I'm sure that many foreign Arabs can deny all over again(as if their being true to themselves on the facts). You can't be victorious if you had nothing to do with it. I'm still trying to understand how this was a victory for them or for Islam?

    What did he achieve and how is it a victory? If you look at everything that has occurred since, then they have been nothing but losers. In that regard, all of the tapes seem to be very old with alot of those Al Jazeera tapes pre-recorded before their fall in Afghanistan. Considering all of the aftermath...it seems anything but a victory in my eyes. Our country united together like never before, we formed a terror coalition, we took down Afghanistan as a haven for terrorists, and we continue to bring down more terrorists and cells each passing day. Yes, we suffered a devastating blow when the attacks occurred and the loss of innocent life was horrible. But, that day woke us up like never before. Never again would we sit idly by while terrorists do their bidding. They hide like the weak little thugs that they are. I dare Bin Laden to come out from under his rock and tan in the sun. Instead, he has to move around quite often while he hides in caves and safe houses...what a great life that is.

    In my opinion, they didn't achieve anything other than cementing their place on the losing side. Good luck trying to have it like the old days with your terrorist camps and laboratories. Good luck trying to take over Afghanistan again with extreme Islam. Bin Laden hated us being in Saudi Arabia so I'm sure he loves us in his own backyard where we won't be leaving any time soon.

    I think he severely miscalculated on Sept. 11th. If anything, then he should have been working more on his WMD. He attacked the symbols of America and killed many innocent people from all over the world. He scared us all real good. It hurt but it only made us stronger in the end. Victory? I think not...not even close. If we wouldn't have responded with a war against terror, then maybe it could have been seen as a victory. But, we responded like never before and took them out. Granted, their still around but severely crippled and no longer supported by Taliban...since Taliban has zippo right now. They are all on the run.

    I guess I'm tired about hearing how it was a victory when it was anything but. They fulfilled their evil satisfaction that innocent Americans died...but considering how many of them have died and how far they've fallen since...where is that satisfaction now?

    One of the goals was for the United States to leave Saudi Arabia. Currently, there is an advisory for Americans to take caution in that country.

    <A HREF="http://www.menewsline.com/stories/2002/april/04_12_1.html">U.S. WARNS AMERICANS IN SAUDI ARABIA</A>

    <i>
    ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United States has warned the 30,000 Americans in Saudi Arabia to remain indoors as they are coming under increasing threat from Islamic demonstrators.

    The State Department has warned Americans in the area of Jedda to remain indoors. A U.S. Consulate statement urged nationals to exercise "great care" if they leave their homes.

    Eastern Saudi Arabia, where most of the Americans live, has been targeted for increasingly strident anti-Israeli and anti-U.S. protests. Last week, Saudi Arabia has banned all such demonstrations and scores of suspected organizers have been arrested.

    The Saudi ban came after demonstrators massed in front of the U.S. Consulate in Dhahran, where many U.S. soldiers are being deployed. Saudi forces were called to disperse the protesters.
    </i>

    There are reports that the US is slowly shifting its military forces out of Saudi and into other neighboring countries because of a worsening relationship with the Saudi government.

    Afghanistan supported bin Laden, but he has no qualms about setting up in another country if that is the best option available.

    A battle may have been won in Afghanistan, but the war with bin Laden is not over.
