This series was truly remarkable. Very different. How often does the underdog not just win over a series...but literally dominate over a series?? The only example I can think of like that was the Reds beating the A's in the 1990 World Series. Shocked everyone that the Bash Brothers were beaten...but shocked them big time that the big time underdog Reds SWEPT the series! I think back on that series, and I'm still amazed. Can you think of any other examples like that?
When was that Dodger/Kirk Gibson series? Didn't LA win that in like 5 games? Looks like the A's had their fair share of chokes.
