Rockets aside, which is your all-time favorite NBA squad? Me, I like the 1970 NY Knicks: Reed, Pearl, Clyde, DeBusschre, Cazzie, Jackson (?) et al

You had to love the fact that the early 70's Lakers had Chamberlain, Baylor, West, and Goodrich, even if the Big 3 were going downhill... of course, as soon as Baylor left, their chemistry was far better, and they went on their 33-game winning streak. That was a great team.

I love the '86 Celtics as well. The passing on that team with Bird and Walton was simply bizarre... no team had ever passed like that. Aieeee... thinking of '86 Celtics reminds me of Len Bias :(.

Tough to pick. I liked that Knicks team also. '72 Lakers with Wilt, West, Baylor, et al was a monster. The late 70's Sixer's with Dr J, George McGinnis, Darryl Dawkins, et al was fun. '86 Celts, as much as I hated them at the time with a front line of Bird, Parish, McHale with Walton off the bench was fun to watch.

All time favorite though has to be the original Twin Tower Rockets. That team had such promise of dynasty until Ralph's knees and the backcourts' noses wrecked it.

Can't remember the year, but I also liked those Bulls teams with Boerwinkle, Bob Love, Chet Walker, Van Lier and Sloan.

The Bad Boy Pistons from the mid 80's. Isiah Thomas, Dennis Rodman, Bill Lambeer, Rick Mahorn, Joe Dumars. Those guys used to literally knock Jordan and the Bulls out of the playoffs every year. Guys like Vince Carter, Kobe and Iverson wouldnt know what to do against those guys.

Since I'm from portland..... the Rockets aside I will have to say the 99 Blazers that knocked at the Jazz and celebrated like the end of the world...

Damon.. Jr Rider.. Jimmy Jackson.. Wallace.. B.G. J oneal. and im missing a few too. Groups of bad boyz that put it together to knock out the Jazz .
