Had to drive in to work today cuz train service was knocked out by trees on the tracks. On my way in, the streets were literally lined with fallen trees. I'm thinking what the hell happened.

Turns out there was a possible tornado in Brooklyn of all places.

For a long time I thought it was impossible for tornados to form in large packed cities, but you just never see them because the cities are in a small area, and tornados can form there!!!!!!!!

I'm going to rent deep impact and the day after tomorrow soon as I get home. This was actually worse than the last deluge we had a few weeks ago. If Al Gore jumped into the race and there was a storm like this on election day, I swear he would take New York City with 85% of the vote.

No. The most common definition of tornado alley is the location of where the strongest tornadoes occur most frequently. In the United States that location is from Northern Texas, northward through Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and into South Dakota.
