I recently moved back to Bryan/College Station and now that I am here, I want to be able to go to all of the A&M Football games and sit in the student section. I know people here that still go to school and could buy a sports pass for me, but I don't know if I will be able to get in using a student ticket, since I am no longer a student (I still have a student ID, but I don't know if they scan them at the gate). As far as I know, the only way I am guaranteed a student section ticket for every game is through a sports pass. Is there any way that I could sit in the student section for every game without having to pay a crazy amount of money to a scalper? Thanks.

I'm not a student there anymore, but how old is your student ID? They replaced everyone's ID a couple of years ago when they switched over to using random student ID numbers rather than social security numbers to identify students. They do check your ID when you enter Kyle Field , but they don't scan them. I don't know if they'd let you in with a student ticket if you don't have the new style ID card.

You can sit in the student section with a sports pass ticket. Worst case scenario is you have to pay a kind of transfer fee for non-students. I think it might be up to 20$ now. But your student ID should get you around that. All kinds of non-students wind up in the student section via sports pass tix.

You have to buy a sticker for the ticket that costs half the price of the ticket.
