This is one of the worse weeks of my career, I'm in Minneapolis working a long week at the Mall of Americas. I miss my family, it's freezing here, I have a toothache and I think I've been inflicted with food poison because I've been yaking since 4am. Is anyone having a worse week?
That's funny AB, my cousin goes to school in Minneapolis and he called me yesterday talking about how warm it was outside. 45 degrees is a heat wave over there Don't get the Chinese at the Food Court.
I watched Lebron v. the Rockets in person, got a bunch of free cool Rockets' stuff at a viewing party, woke up every morning next to a beautiful woman, just bought a brand new loaded Accord, and I just ordered my tickets for Dave Matthews Band's two night stand at CWMP. So, my answer would be no, my week is not worse than your's.
I almost had a knock-down, drag-out with my son's martial arts instructor... a 6th degree Black Belt (he says). It turns out that he's a jumped up "used car salesman" kind of a dude. I should have said that he's the "former" martial arts instructor. It's a long story, but I got so angry that I had to go to my chiropractor. My shoulders were trying to clean my ears. If I had been 20 years younger, I would have gotten into it with him. I'm lucky I didn't. Idiot chump or not, I'm sure he could have wiped the floor with me. (unless I got in my standard opening move first... the swift kick in the family jewels. I don't fight fair!) Hope you're feeling better, AB. That sounds like a rotten place to be sick. Although I guess you could be outside. It was about 70 degrees here in Austin today.
i got a freaking toothache too, my last dentist screwed up on a filling a month ago. i went a month and my tooth started developing some sensitivity so i saw another dentist, who told me that my filling was too deep and aggravated the nerve which is now going to cost me a root canal. im too damn young to have a root canal. she cleaned it up two days ago and it hurts like hell, I can't eat food today, and its feels like its getting worse. painkillers arent working and i cant take codone because i have to do papers and it'll put me to sleep. i hope it doesnt get worse because the actual surgery is in 3 weeks. if the pain stays, this pretty much ruins the cruise that i have planned next week. Im considering suing my last dentist because his f**kup is costing me alot of pain, money and time. anyone have a root canal before? im in the stage where i am taking antibiotics and then they do the hardcore stuff in three weeks. I dont know if my toothache is supposed to get worse after the first drilling session.
Damn! Sounds like you should get one of the lawyers here to recommend someone. You were shafted, big-time. I had a root canal and it sux. Really. Good luck.
You know the Rockets played one of their most impressive games of the year last night. There team play was very impressive throughout the entire game especially on the defensive end. The bench also showed it's grit once again helping the team move close and closer to that first playoff apperance since 99. Hope that makes you feel better.
Man, sorry to hear about that. I'm reading in bed all day with a hangover, so I kinda feel ya. Is it hard to be funny when you're miserable. I know I'm be useless making other people laugh when I feel like complete and utter crap.
I'm presuming you are in a hotel during this stay. Time to turn your weekend around. It's time for the 24-hour television p*rn BUFFET ...sure to stomp out any pity party known to man.

i lost my job this week, my brother refused to lend me $2500 to kick start my own business, and my second child is due any minute. you could say i'm...stressed...got a buddy out in rosemont who could probably cheer you up tho.
thanks mon- it does suck, all though the situation's got tons of upside- i'll have a new baby any day, and life doesn't get any better than the first glimpse of a new baby. 'preciate the thought tho.
AB...much sympathy for you. Take heart though. You're a funny and talented guy. Many of us (myself included) would more than happily yak for a few days to be able to do for a while what you can do for a living every day.
One of my best friends just called to tell me that his mom passed away about 8:30 PM ET this evening.
