Sorry for the cryptic and somewhat misleading Thread title. But you'll understand when I explain. Those of you who are "Old-timers" on CC.Net will probably get a chuckle out of this. I have my left knee worked on twice (torn ACL hooping in 2000). The first one was done by Rocket back-up Doc Bruce Moseley. The second time around, my insurance was different and Moseley wasn't on my plan, so I lucked out and got The Head Rocket Doc (Walter Lowe) to do the recontruction....

Long story to say that I'm up for another scope on the same knee, and I asked Dr. Lowe if he was "Doc Rocket" on this BBS. He looked at me like "what the hell are you talking about?". So, either he's as good a liar as the real Doc Rocket is cryptic, or I was just totally out of my gourd for asking.

I don't mind being the reason that someone gets a good laugh. Just thought I would share the trevails of my aging and weak knees. (the next scope brings my knee surgeries to four...) I'm hoping I get back to hooping after my next rehab stint. I've been on the shelf for over a year!!

I don't think I'd have the guts to ask anyone if they're "Doc Rocket" in public. :)

That's a funny story :). I don't think that Dr. Lowe would have the time to post as much as Doc Rocket does. I also think that Doc is not a real Doc :).

Your lucky to get a great surgeon. I wish I'd had someone like Dr. Lowe work on my back. I think I had a sturgeon. :(

Thanks for asking The Question... your bravery is admirable! :)

    "You're Dr of Dunk, right?"

That was embarrassing, forgetting your name.

I still can't believe I called Behad, Smeggy Smeg once. How could I mistake a manly Texan Master BBQer for a weasle Australian dingle burying dingo. Boy, I've never lived that one down.
