80% Chance of Taking 3 Picks, 95% Chance of Only Two

    This from Rudy T. who said on Fox tonight that there is a 95% chance they will only end up with two picks in tomorrow's draft.

    He said he wants to get a scorer and size with the picks, not necessarily in the same player.

    My bet is that they don't find any takers to move up, so they dump the 23rd pick. If they dump the 18th pick, it is to rationalize last year's trade: "We got Jason Collier and Terrence Morris for Joel Prizbilla." Maybe they can use a pick to buy a salary dump (a la Orlando last year) and send Cato, the Drew obligation and the 23rd pick to Chicago for Chicago's first pick of the second round. Then they could take Morris with a non-guaranteed pick.

    In summary, there is a 175 percent chance the Rockets will make either two picks or three.

    I'd say 42.5% of dumping a pick for a future first rounder and 42.5% of having that "one special high pick". It's really a toss up, but they should try and dip into this year's draft because next year's draft is PG heaven.
