Doing it immediately. Interesting. David Aldridge had up in his column this morning that he wasn't going to be back next year.

Well, that team we played, in the 3rd quarter, was everthing of the opposite of a Skiles team.

Skiles seems to have lost interest in continuing with the team. Saw his post-game interview after the recent loss to the Rockets, he was all relaxed and smiling and like "Oh well, we kept turning the ball over so we lost, hehe." It's kind of creepy to see Scott Skiles not scowling, actually. Was worried for his mental health.

I think the Bucks have just been stuck at the 35-40 win talent level with no prospect for change in sight. My guess is Skiles is just finding the whole enterprise of trying to coach up such a team to be futile. His contract is expiring at the end of the year anyway, so might as well not live out the lame duck half-season.

    Edit: According to Woj:

A ****ty ball-chucking no defense playing back-court wore him out.

FO probably got tired of him whipping his players all the time. The guy looks scary.

So how long until Kelvin Sampson puts himself up as a rumored candidate for this job?

He'd actually be a good coach for that team. I bet they give him a look.

I'm gonna guess the real story is Skiles demanded an extension and they smartly refused to give him one.

LosPollosHermanos, Skiles is indeed a scary guy. I watched him play a few games in high school and a lot at Michigan State. He was incredibly intense back then too.

Whoever the Bucks bring in or promote, the new head coach will seem like a soft touch compared to Skiles.

He was the one who forced Bogut out of Milwaukee.

Remember when Skiles got into a physical fight with Shaq in practice back when they were teammates?

Yes. Besides his 29 assist game, that's about all I remember about his NBA career.

The guy is truly wired differently than the rest of us.

I've known about it but have never seen it.
the last assist at 3:16 is just ridiculous.

Some of these are really very generously credited as assists.
