Is Drelich really putting himself in a corner right now?

Talk about career Russian roulette.

 

He can't help himself. Not enough negativity this season for his liking.

 

He already put himself in the corner.

He already has been cut off and he isn't going to ever get a story from the Astros.

At this point the best he can do is try to take an even stronger anti-Astros stand and hope it keeps him relevant.

Think McTaggart is the only one who could get breaking news. I miss Footer's work on the beat, she was great.

I don't mind McTaggart.

I suspect that the Astros will leak to someone in the national media.

I am a little surprised that Mark Berman hasn't become the source of choice. Bob Allen had great connections but he reports nothing unless it is 100% certain.

 

Gammons or Drellich?

 

I've been really impressed with Chandler Rome as a twitter follow. Much better than Drellich/JDJO.

 

Seems to be a really knowledgable and fair reporter thus far. Not a hack at all.
