    Pippin

....I kid, I kid. Moses or prime McGrady would just about guarantee us a championship.

Ralph Sampson would fit really well at the 4 on this current team

    Hakeem. Then trade Dwight.

Or Horry because he always wins rings.

Staying within the rules set by the OP I would choose either Lowry or Artest. Artest gives this team balls. Lowry, well I think with him and Harden we wouldn't have to worry about Steph and Klay. Splash Bros 2.0.

My thoughts exactly. The real question is - who's just about the worst former Rocket player that probably gets us over the hump?

We actually had a good 2 years or so of Barkley in there.

How about former Rocket that is still currently in the NBA? Lowry? Dragic? Rudy Gay?

If I can go back in time I have a whole lot of other s**t on my agenda before I worry about basketball. Also, if you brought someone forward in time from like the 60's they'd probably loose their mind with culture shock, so they wouldn't do you any good anyway because they'd be drooling on themselves in a psych ward somewhere.

You can't have mcgrady and harden on the same team. Tmac is ball dominant and would be pissed harden is taking all the shots.
Every other game would be the toronto game

If it can't be Hakeem then I pick Yao.

But really my pick is Hakeem.

Need someone versatile off the bench and isn't redundant.

Prime Shane Battier could work well playing behind Ariza and Harden. I don't think it'd put us over the top and for sure champs but it would definitely improve the team a lot. He was a very solid 3 point shooter from the corner and one of the best perimeter defenders in Rockets history.

Prime Yao could work very well coming off the bench behind Dwight. Could start depending on match ups. Yao is a much more dependable scorer than Dwight and isn't hackable. I can see both guys splitting minutes. 28 for dwight and 28 for Yao. Screw it. I think I'll go with Yao lol.
