    It's on now.

I'm going to torture myself and watch it - then take it out on all of you.

P.S. - Our uniforms kicked ass back then, and screw anyone who says different.

Man, Hatcher destroyed that Oroscoe fastball. I'm going to turn it off now and pretend we win it in the 16th. I can't handle the truth again, even after almost 17 years.

When I think back, this was my first coherent sports memory - watching the Astros lose to those evil people in the ugly uniforms. I didn't even realize how this was essentially an elimination game for both teams, just that the Astros wouldn't be playing anymore.

    **** the Mets.

Well it's about 4th on list of coherent sports memories. Not that anyone cares but it would be:

1)Live University of Oregon football game (first sports event I ever went to)

2)Old school wrestling event myu GRANDPARENTS took me to in Madisonville (year wrestling isn't exactly sports, but close enough).

3)"The Shot" courtesy of Ralph Sampson

    4)Game 6.
