Should I watch the Warriors series? lol

I watched/heard all the games 93-95 season and playoffs. Moved out of town after 95 and now every time I watch the Rockets, they lose. Either I move back to Htown or stop watching my beloved Rockets.

I don't believe in superstition but this year I'm not sure that I want to take any chances but at the same time I don't want to miss any Rockets games.

 

I watched from home, will never attend a Rockets game 7 again!!

 

Rockets went down 3-1, so I prayed for Game 5 victory. Prayed again before Game 6 and 7.

I prayed again last night for tonight's game.

 

so you forgot to pray for game 1, 3, 4, and every game the rockets have lost?

 

Never crossed my mind until the Rockets were about to go in to their potentially last game of the season.

 

My folks gave me a Harden Chinese New Year shirt for my birthday in March. I never wore it because I didn't want to ruin it. I told them I would wear it for the start of the playoffs, but I forgot to against the Mavs, and then when they won the series I didn't wear it because I didn't want to mess with their run.

Then they went down 3-1, and before game 5 I thought I might as well wear the shirt - what could it hurt? After they won, I wore the shirt for the games 6 & 7 victories and it hasn't been washed yet.

Tonight is the biggest test for this shirt.

 

The last 2 games my roommate will watch the first half on TV then go into his room and watch on gamecast the 2nd half... So far it has worked so I expect the same routine tonight

 

A friend from school gave me a decorative rockets snapback with patterns on the lid. Wore it just before the start of game 5 and kept it on for each game since. Hopefully it can get us 8 more wins

 

playoff beard. I hate having a beard but not shaving till we lose.

 

I have an indoor basketball hoop. I have to hit 3 out of 6 shots from 23 feet. Worked in 93-94, and 94-95. Didn't do it until right before game 5 and we won. Been doing it every game since

 

Rockets were undefeated against the Clippers when I didn't have any alcohol, so I'm going to try it again tonight.

As someone who is on a first name basis with folks at several nearby liquor stores that is hard to do. Make my suffering worth it!

I bought a James Harden jersey because I misplaced my Yao Ming jersey. Same day, opening game we lose to Denver Nuggets.

I wear the same jersey to tonight's game vs Warriors. We lose.

Before I left, I bought a Pat Bev jersey. I hope this works.

 

Anytime the Rockets are on national TV as well as ROOT, I start watching the national coverage, but if they start stinking it up, I switch over to ROOT. It didn't work tonight...
