    Was it because he bounced the ball back towards Mauer? That's all I can think of, other than more nefarious reasons.

    Either way, I'd rather have Joey Crawford.

    Joey Dorsey is a big boy. Bring him in to dive for a loose ball in this muffin heads direction. Bring in the alternate while Ken sniffs some smelling salts.
