ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Clippers 5/14/2015 (Playoffs Round 2, Game 6)

Seems like the game changed in the 3rd once d12 knocked Griffin on his ass

 

It was great waking up to a Rockets win, wish I stayed up for some magic,but 1 AM games kill me.This team is Clutch when it matters I will admit that.

-Smith is a championship piece and I hope we keep him.
-I have to give allot of credit to the coaching staff, defense was looking great and that was coming from the great effort the players put in especially the bench.
-Hope Harden uses the rest wisely and get better.

Houston always had a chance to win the series if they just forced this to a game 7, Houston are good enough team to win you a game 7 IMO against any playoff team right now.


Anyways, Rockets win game 7 by 5 points, both team are going to come out swinging. The players will have to come in like its the last game of the season and be ready .

Can we also talk about how when we were slowly cutting the lead down Dwight had a run of 4-4 fts, in which one was a lucky ass bounce and one was a banked shot. Idk man, that's when I knew he really really wanted it. that he was going to give it all whether his team did or not, but then they came thru for him too

 

Lol watch Sam Cassell after Smoove hits the step back 3 with 2 minutes left. Rips up his papers hahaha

 

Hard to see how the Clippers can come back from this devastating loss. Reminds me of when the Spurs loss game 6 against the Heat in the finals.

legit still don't know wtf happened last night.

 

Momentum comes and goes baby. He was basically saying the clippers had their momentum and came and went. And now we have the momentum at the perfect time.

 

I was up past 4. I hope my significant other can walk at work today. She LOVES it when the Rockets win a big game. I love that about her. Fixing to watch the second half for the 3rd time, post-game. One of the top ten games that I can remember, and I've been a fan of the Rockets since they drafted Elvin Hayes. My mind is blown. A great game. A classic that will live forever in the annals of Rocket history. The young cats can quit feeling like they missed out on some tremendous moments back before the championships. Sure, they did, but last night ranks right up there with the great games of the '80's, the great games of Rockets history. Didn't see Sampson make The Shot to eliminate the defending champion Lakers in '86? You have last night. Balls to the wall, facing the end of their season, behind by 19 late in the 3rd, an unlikely collection of Rockets rose up and didn't just beat the Clippers, they stole their souls.
