Because that's a big improvement and he deserves some praise for the fantastic season he's had.

I have been a big Dmo supporter from Day 1. But even i thought he was shooting too many 3s early on. He's turned a weakness into a strength. Kudos to DMo and the coaches.

I'd like to see what Jones could do with more attempts.

He's currently shooting low 30s with less than an attempt per game.

I remember DMo's first two and a half years he was atrocious from deep, but he kept firing away and finally he improved.

If Jones wants to improve he has to shoot more.

In practice, with a more fluid form.

I know you're kidding, but DMo shot much worse from three than Jones but he still put 'em up. After awhile he just got in a good rhythm and started hitting them.

The past 40 games he's shot nearly 42% from 3.

Yup, exactly. He was consistently putting up threes all season, yet shot terribly for the first 30 games or so. After that, something clicked.

Probably worse in the first 20. He got better as the season went on.

I wish man but doesn't look like it.

Do you guys would be pissed if D-Mo recovers well and decides to take action with Lithuanian national team? NT member Darjuš Lavrinovič had a similar injury and he came back to the game after 2 months basically (he's 35yo).

As long as he is being used in a productive manner, I don't see why anyone should be upset. Are there any tournaments this summer or just scrimmages?

Off course there is. very important pre-Olympic Eurobasket. Not only to fight for Eurobasket awards, but also for Olympic tickets or the ticket to Olympic qualification (3-6 teams gets it). D-Mo this year would be one of the guys (along with Valančiūnas) who makes the most action in the offense and now he is probably best defensive big (maybe competing with Javtokas at this point). Huge loss for Lithuanian NT if D-Mo won't come and most likely he won't.

i remember last season someone mentioned that the coaches told Jones not to shoot 3s. His per minute attempts dropped significantly since his rookie season.

DMO is a scary good player but as paul pierce would say, he doesn't even know hes that good.
