for me the pels vs warriors game is a no lose scenario. either curry loses again, or the pels lose and are most likely out of the playoffs if the thunder win their next game.

He is playing worse defense but better offense with the Pels. His offense is like his late 2014 season with the rockets, with more confidence and some occasional dunks. And less stone hands. He's able catch some passes.

Then Jerian Grant ALLLLLL DAYYYYYY!!!! That's actually what we need a helluvalot more.

No to Kris Dunn. Undersized and can't shoot the 3 ball. Grant is tough as nails, clutch, shoots the 3, athletic, and is 6'5". And a Sr @ Notre Dame? He'll have a lot of poise and polish.

Tyrone Wallace will be a better NBA point than Grant.

Pelicans pick will either be at 14 or 18-19. There's no in-between because once they're in the playoffs, they drop below all the crappy Leastern conference playoff scrubs.

While clearly it's more valuable for the pick to be 14, I think at this range in the draft, the difference won't be that much. And the Rockets have a Knicks 2nd rounder to use as fodder to trade up if they really target someone.

    Not good, but still possible.

Thunder need to make up two games essentially. Their remaining schedule:

    Sacramento
    @ Indiana
    Portland
    @ Minnesota

The Pelicans have fives games left:

    @ Memphis
    Phoenix
    @ Houston
    @ Minnesota
    San Antonio

Can OKC go 3-1 and New Orleans 2-3? The big question I have with New Orleans is the final game against San Antonio. Will the Spurs have anything to play for in that game by that time? Pop could very well rest his players.

The Rocket home game against the Pelicans is likely going to be huge, but the Thunder have lost 4 straight. They just tanked at the wrong time.

Are we sure OKC is not tanking? You would think the cheap owner would want 2 playoff games over a few spots in the draft though.

Conspiracy theorists would have you believe that OKC will get the number 1 pick if they don't make the Playoffs...

His head is in the shape of a thigh-- also long. Kaminsky is the poster child of wasted height, the modern Hilton Armstrong.
