Pat Bev going down is just another in a long line of injuries Harden will carry us through. Harden won't win MVP over Curry but he is just more deserving.

Yeah I don't think James has much of a shot. Unless he goes bezerk in the last 8 games. It's currys to lose.

I was really shocked a while back about even saying Curry is on Harden's level, but he keeps playing at such a high level, he's well deserving.

It's funny how so many actual NBA players are saying Harden's the MVP (Wade, Davis, others). Media just wants Curry so bad.

Curry is deserving just as much as Harden in my opinion.

James is a better overall player. Just more athletic and seems more capable as a scorer overall.

But Curry's team is incredible and he is having a great year shooting and with crazy highlights.

I wouldn't mind seeing a pissed off James Harden.

Let him cook up the warriors.

At least most are no longer pretending Westbrook and Lebron are serious candidates.

    Unfortunately the media votes, right?

I think it merits some re-evaluation. Technology's impact on Sports media is profound. I would imagine that there's a subconscious bias towards hype and who is delivering impressions (or who they have more exposure to)? Curry's all over vine, and all over twitter.

Harden & Curry have similar stats, except the shooting percentage, where Curry has a huge advantage. The 3pt difference is largely due to the less minutes Curry played, the Warriors blew out of teams regularly, he sat out many 4th qtrs.

The Warriors is going to win 67, or 68 games, making them one of the all time best regular teams, and Curry is the best player on that team, that makes him the MVP.

Curry - Doing what he doing with the HEALTHIEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE
Harden - Doing what he doing with the 'seemingly' LEAST HEALTHIEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE

That just proved my point I've been making all season, because Curry is having pretty much the same type of season this year compared to last, how exactly does that now make him Most Valuable??? If the award was for "best player on team with best record", then make an award just for that, like how we have the Defensive POY. With the MVP award, there should be a clear, defined determination of what "Most Valuable" is.

Are you guys serious? If Harden averages 32pt with 50% shooting, 39% from deep as Durant did last year, then no one would debate who should be MVP this year.

Curry has similar stats, but plays ~4 less minutes, and he plays much better defense than last year. On top of that, he showed great leadership in leading the Warriors on pace to become one of the all-time great regular season teams.

james mvp odds before the season started were 25/1 I put $25 on him so it brings back $625 if he gets it, really hoping he finishes this month on a high note
