    At least in this case, its not the end of the world if your NT is fat/out of shape (he can still take up space)... as opposed to your safety.

    Plus, I fully expect this coaching staff (as opposed to Kubiak/Phillips) to actually put out the "best" players, not just the ones with big names/contracts. This was very evident towards the end of the season when Cushing was seeing less and less playing time in games he was being burned/ineffective.

    The last regime never liked to hurt any one's feelings by firing or demoting them. They were loyal to an extreme fault.
