If you haven't noticed, there's been increased Houston crowd support for our teams' road games lately. I first really noticed during the Texans Cowboys NFL game (@DAL) last October. The pictures before the game of the local fans was amazing. Then the crowd at the game sounded like Cowboy fans were outnumbered. The support seemingly increased for all the remaining Texans road games. Fast forward to today.... There seemed like more cheers than usual @POR for our squad. The game @DEN last Saturday sounded like nearly half the crowd was Rockets fans. Both squads have players (Watt, Harden) that are highly national, so maybe this contributes to the increased local support. Does this phenomena exist?... is it old news?
