He always miss a bunch of wide open shots against them. But the rest of his game was great. Agreed nonetheless, the Clippers traps him, keep putting different players on him and closes the lane on him.

That 2nd unit is a game changer. Beautiful to watch.

The offense stopped when starters came back in, that lead was built by the bench.

Referees were very Clipper friendly, that's all I'm going to say...awesome victory!! Finally, now let's win that last one as well so at least I feel good when facing them in the play-offs.

Brewer was our top guy in this game. Ariza deserves a lot of credit too. 5 threes, and that too on a night when James' shot was off. Hope Harden is feeling well.

That Ariza-Brewer rotation on defense is awesome. Two different but very effective styles of defense from individuals that are capable of guarding 1-3.

BTW, rookie defensive specialist, KJ McD, is also on the bench. If Harden is out, we may see him in the rotation on Friday.

Looks like Kentucky - keep sending in waves of long, athletic, quick guys.

Kudos to "Professor" Morey. Parcells called it "churning the bottom of the roster".... so I dont know why people take exception when Morey does the same things to make this team better, top to bottom.

note - both Rockets and Astros rank in the top 5 ( or is it top 3?) of all professional sports teams ( MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL) in the use of analytics. Wish i was 35 years younger and had the chance to spend my computing systems career working stats with teams like this. Wonder how Morey would feel about an intern in his late 60's ?????

In his postgame interview with ESPN, he said it was sore and that he'd ice it and rest so he can be ready for Brooklyn. That doesn't sound like a guy who's gonna sit out the next game. Although ideally the Rockets kick the crap out of them so he can limit his minutes.

I think we should play it safe and rest him.

They should definitely rest him on Friday, but he is an Iron Man and will likely try to play.

If he plays he needs very restricted minutes. Need him for that big game on Sunday

Its more because of the Clippers has one of the worst bench in NBA more than everything else.

I believe it happened because of the mental pressure of the double teaming and the fact that they have outplayed us so often. I was disappointed at James' shooting, but I am very happy that he came back strong at the end of the game.

    Go James! Go Houston Rockets!
