This is why I get so mad at half the comments I read which are often just regurgitation of conventional wisdom. The conventional wisdom on someone with a guaranteed contract being waived is that they are a locker room cancer, and that Josh Smith is an uncoachable chucker. Well, he's clearly coachable (see shot chart) and he was not cut because he was bad in the locker room (see quotes from SVG).

People may rightly still complain that a sub 30% 3PT shooter is taking a lot of 3's but that is our system and those are certainly better shots than the long 2's he was shooting a a similar clip.

It works if the players continue to work after their workout with Hakeem. It really seems to have helped Kobe and LeBron.

next phase...use the offseason to work on his long distance jumper...Think this is what Morey has gotten Josh to buy into...work on dominating the post and then expand your game in the offseason. Hope this will help. God knows we need consistent scoring from our inside bigs

According to the LA announcers on the Lakers game, DMo worked with Scola on his post moves.

The dream was born with innate talents. That you cannot teach. Just look at how horrible Dwight's post-moves are even after training with Hakeem

    We suck.

Harden just got a bad call but still... so many opportunities and we are just sucking.

Thanks! I usually don't post. Lots of heartache over the years following the Rockets.
