    I am glad to hear this, not just as a Rockets fan, but as a fan of the NBA in general. If Kidd, O'Neal and Payton were to all sign with West teams, the balance of power would be seriously out of whack. I dont mind seeing a dominant conference, but all of these rumors were worrying me. Sometimes its hard to keep up with the Jonses.

    Yeah, I also think it's positive for the league if O'Neal stays in Indiana...

    O'Neil could come to the West its okay with me. . . as long as he's a Rocket. ;)

    I don't know codell. the balance is already really out of whack. There is no team in the east (even if Kidd stays in NJ) that could push a series past 6 games against any of the top 4 teams in the west and I think the Nets would struggle w/ the TWolves or Blazers if those teams were playing at peak form. Maybe the Pacers or Bulls in like 4 years can challenge someone.
