I got this email the other day.

So I replied back and he sent me the link to http://www.ktyrecruitment.com and I looked at the page and they wanted like $30 to sign up to enroll and I am like this is bullcrap. So I just forgot about it. Then today I got an email saying they dropped the enrollment fee from $30 to $10. He sent me a link to http://www.ktyrecruitment.com/promotion which does not have a link on the original homepage he sent me. Anyhow...I am thinking about just trying it out for the hell of it and maybe making a few bucks or maybe just losing my $10. Anyone ever done this? Is it just a scam to get credit cards? What's the deal? Anyone know?

If you are interested in doing surveys for money, I would suggest looking at the bulletin boards at universities (particularly those with a good business school). I participated in a number of studies in college that just wanted your opinion about certain ads, for instance. They didn't pay quite as well as people would have you believe. As I recall, they were not that frequent and only offered about $10. But if you are near/on the campus, $10 for fifteen minutes of your time isn't bad.

You can do surveys for me and I only charge you $5 initially, after which you will rake in the money. Then for every person you recruit into *our* scheme, you will get another $1. Just don't tell the FBI or the Post Office...

    DO NOT reply.

    This is a fraud.

Come on, it's so obvious, I can even smell the rat from West coast....;)

I've gotten e-mails like that before. Usually if its too good to be true, then it is.

i've never seen an email like that, but I have taken surveys and made 25. They are out there, but they are a pain in the ass if you do them seriously.
