Why DMO should be our number 1 option in the low post?

    1.He is a better low post player than dwight.

    2.They have a better chance to get the offensive rebound while with dwight waiting for DMO working on the post.

    1. Wrong forum
    2. It's not that simple. Dwight had 16 FTA, meaning they fouled him 8 times. They also double him a lot more. This translates to putting Denver into the foul penalty (guess who is good at getting fouled and shooting FT's?) and more open shooters.
    3. D-Mo's post game should be utilized over Howard's in certain situations, but generally Howard's post game has more benefits for the Rockets overall offense.

    They pay Howard big money without expecting him to dominate entirely with his post game. (More for easy points, rebounds, blocks)

    He gets majority of touches in the post.

    I am surprised Dmo could get 12-13 shots a game.

    But we have a better chance to let Howard dominate the paint when he's waiting while DMO is not so good in rebounding. As a team you should fill on your teams weakness. This dosent mean DMO is better than Dwight.

    Dwight's catapult hook shot is inconsistent. He use to bank shot in orlando.

    DMo needs his looks but I haven't forgotten what Dwight did to Portland in last year's playoffs.

    There's room/touches for both guys, each of which has value. Dwight fouls mother****ers out like crazy. That Bosnian dude last night (who actually played pretty well on Dwight and gave him trouble) was done early in the 4th with 5 fouls and a bum ankle. DMO then draws the weaker defenders as a consequence.

    Posting them both up is what the Rockets should continue to do - it's not like the offense is so packed with scorers there's limited touches.
