You are probably right here. But just a couple things, it was Henry I believe who gave Kobe the five after Kobe threw out those words. Johnson instead, was like "Oh, the f---, Kobe iso again, I'ma gonna go grab a drink or towel". And Swaggy P's expression is just priceless.

That play after the timeout was as good as Coach McHale's offensive set. Denver was all prepared for that and they didn't even bother to double team Kobe and just let him shoot the ball. Scott made it too easy for the Nuggets.

[Edit] BTW, you watched quite a lot of Lakers games this season. Really like your insights in these Lakers threads.

Jordan won finals games by "passing the ball" to teammates

Jordan Averaged 8 assists for a season as a SG and 11 assists in the finals

    The moral of the story

Kobe the chucker is no Jordan

Not taking anything away about kobe being an ahole, however, maybe lin asked him what you got in mind to run this sequence...(already knowing the ball was going to bryant anyways)
and as to why no players say anything about kobes attitude, I would say because they don't want to ruin future chances of playing with a star of his caliber. If you seem like a whiner, then what gm will think you can compliment his stars...or better yet, gtfo the way?!

No idea why people still compare Kobe to Jordan. They're SG's that are popular, but Jordan as far more decorated than Kobe. Not even remotely close

Kobe wasn't the best player on his own team for the first 8 years of his career. Out-performed by his teammates regularly in regular season and playoffs, especially in key games. Only has 1 MVP and 2 FMVP. Worse numbers than Jordan in almost every category ,etc, etc

Don't see what's the big deal here.

Kobe is just telling Lin to pass him the ball and gtfo of the way for the last shot. What, do you want him say 'please'?

I love the look on Jordan Hill's face in that video. He appears to be in awe and slightly frightened by Kobe at the same time.

No one dare to called out Kobe, even the coach,
but Lin just did it, and several times.

Boozer and Nick followed Lin to voice out.

Kobe is a true gunslinger. He'll go down blazing every time. He could be 0-27 and he's shooting that 28th shot like he knows it's going in. Gotta respect that kind of crazy. Lin should watch his ass because Kobe will stomp on him just for kicks.

Young or role players used to kiss star players as$ ..

But what I don't get it is when it's Shaq ,who treats Kobe as an abusive husband ..

Yeah, I noticed that too. He was like, "WTF did he just said? I'd better get the **** out of the way myself!"

BTW, Swaggy is as much of a chucker as Kobe. He just doesn't have the clout to demand the ball.
