    AFAIK ski/snow season won't be until early December at the earliest for Colorado. With that in mind, I'd pick San Diego just for the weather alone.

    Seriously, it's TOO DAMN EARLY to ski in November. Unless he enjoys really cold hiking, the obvious answer here is San Diego.
