    I'm not comparing race to a profession at all. I simply replaced the word "cop" with a race to point out that he is overgeneralizing based on the actions of a few. Something many people do here.

    If you're 12 years old and running from strange men that you don't know, and they try to grab you out of your hiding place, I think screaming for your dad and fighting back is a pretty normal reaction - and one most people would think is reasonable.

    If a bunch of guys in an unmarked van pull up to your house and say "hey, we're police, come here!", a 12 year old girl outside by herself should not listen. Kidnappers wish more people were like you, though.
