    I've never really understood the hatred for guys who just consistently kill us on the floor (except for Stockton... that hatred will be everlasting). I reserve those feelings for guys who do dumb stuff and run their mouths.

    I am OK with this trade whether he plays for us or not.

    the Lakers take Lin with rockets 2015 first (must be a late first and it is protected) and the LAC 2015 2nd (top 55 protected)

    Don't forget about Lin's TPE which could bring in another expiring to add to a potential trade package.

    While the net total is probably looks negative right now, the income isn't a bad haul. If Ariza can shoot as he has the last two years, Papa becomes a good 3 and D player and Terry can come in a shoot some threes or become a part of a bigger trade with the picks and whatever Lin's TPE brings, all of which are likely, us then the Rockets will have gotten better.

    We are slowly inching closer to getting a real third star.

    Morey and his flexibility will prevail :p

    I feel the same way, but it's not "nothing." We have to potentially pay a big expiring salary that Sacramento did not want to pay, *plus* we have to choke on the bile of having Jason Terry appear in our uniform.

    Still a very good move GM wise. I would have been happy with just Gee for 2 2nd-rounders, but I guess the expiring is a piece Maury hopes to parlay in different trade action. We'll see.

    Ugh though. Too much Maverick in this off-season for my tastes.
